As we celebrate the holiday with friends and family, ask yourself a few questions:
- Is the town you are spending time in have genealogical significance? If so, have you done research on the town history and how your ancestors figure in?
- Are there any family members available who know about your ancestors and have you talked to them about the subject?
- What stories are told while everyone is together that could help in your research?
- Have you shared a part of your research with others? Maybe someone can add to your research.
- What traditions do you celebrate that can be traced back to an earlier time?
